Just got back a couple days ago from a trip to palm springs where my mom in law lives.
Had a great time. Have some wonderful pics to show when I get them on my computer.
Well a new year is starting. I was going to try to sell candles but that did not work out really well so I am going to plan "B" my hubby got me a great sewing machine for christmas so I am going to sell artsy teddy bears, dolls and other wonderfully artsy fartsy creation. Plus I am going to create some embellishments with clay etc. And also would like to get my altered inspiration E-zine going. I have alot of plans for 2006 and plan on making them happen, turned 34 in December and really need to get my life on track. Well I am getting ready for a new years get together so you will hear again from me in 2006.

For 4x4 inch Color Swap
To make this square I first spread on some light molding paste (golden)
with a painting knife. Then I Textured the square with my painting knife and took some paperclay molded shapes I made and dried and put some of the molding past on the bottom of the clay pieces and stuck them in the paste. Then I added some more paste with my paint knife to build up around the clay pieces. Waited patiently for it to dry. Then painted the whole thing with yellow oxide acrylic paint. Zapped it with the heat gun and painted red oxide thick over it a little at a time wiping off with paper towel then I dry brushed yellow oxide over it. Zapped with heat gun again then used a brush and applied Liquitex medium and varnish then zapped with heat till bubbled. Then waited for it to dry .

The word style and dots were done on acetate on wrong side with ink and dried with heat gun and canvas paper was layered on Bristol paper and acetate was overlayed on to the canvas paper. This was a really fun swap to do.

3 different veiws of my new studio furniture and space still being organized I can't wai till the space is done. If you noticed a large cork board that is going to be painted today and decorated with a Leonardo Da Vinci theme.

New Lamp and darn it I always buy lamps that take speciallty bulbs so its
not working yet :( Check out the little tiny easel I got at Dick Blicks art supplies I have a work in progress on it currently.

I have started walking club at my daughters school its about time I get in shape.
I just have one problem my 14yr old daughter has her boyfriend over everyday after school and there is no supervision 3 days a week which makes me nervous.
What to do , what to do??????????????????
