what's up today :)
Today I need to get busy painting and I finally have a window of sunshine and can finally spray some of my paintings.
Did not get a chance to get to stencil project but going to do that one first, after I have breakfast and my morning coffee Hee Hee.
And GRRRR one of my kids left a candy wrapper on the floor in my workroom and have to vacume and combat sweet ants in the carpet eeewwwww.
Well off to start my day you have a creative day too ;)

Taking a break today :)
Today my hubby had the day off. Yeah !!! We went to Walmart this morning to grocery shop then we came back and got kira ready to go to a skating birthday party.
My oldest daughter and I may do some art together or I may just veg on the couch watching movies with my hubby have not decided yet.
Well I am off to enjoy my Sunday.

Saturday is here !!!
Today I plan to work on my those people atc's for trade on the draw and paint group, work on my paintings some more and make a pair of kissed dominos( its a technique where you take two dominos and drop paint on them and squish them together to make 2 pretty dominos ready to stamp and/or embellish.
Hoping the kids behave today may try to keep them busy with some art projects. Plan on doing art with my oldest tommorow when my youngest goes skating for a bday party. Providing she gets her room clean.
My hubby may have day off from work I am so excited. Would love to see him home getting rest he works 7days a week now.
Like I said in a previous post I miss him since he works so many hours.
Oh on a side note finally got to meet Mikes parents. They are wonderful people and have big beautiful house that overlooks a beautiful view. (Mike is my oldest daughter Danielles boyfriend ;)

Another Day is Here :)
I am hoping me kids will behave them selves. My daughter is going to her friends house today and not sure what my other two are doing yet.
Really missing my hubby he is working his new job at a computer store but staying part time where he is an airplane mechanic. So I only see him breifly at night before he crashes. I am really missing him.
As long as my kids behave I can keep busy with working on my paintings.
Will put one up to show you these will be available for sale on my website and maybe ebay when i can finally get the protective coat.
Well I am off to have more morning coffee. hee hee. maybe with french vanilla creamer today yummy.

Finally Got some art done :)
I finally had a chance while cooking dinner to create some art made a 4x4 inch painting and sketched out my next two painting in pencil will paint them tommorow. Well its thunderstorming again so I am going to head to bed.
Oh forgot to mention we had pizza and poker night at our house last night invited my daughters boyfriend and our friend from highschool. We had a lot of fun and I won over all yippppeeee.
And yes the pasta turned out awesome. lol

Not in the mood to create art :(
I have not created any art today kids won't stop fighting and its annoying me today. Just can't concentrate so I have decided to update and work on my website Art By Laura Jean .
Also I am having a dilemma really need some cash for some art supplies (my addiction is buying art supplies LOL ) Am pondering selling ACEO Cards. I want to stay true to artist trading cards. Couldn't I just consider them two totally different art forms. I am so confused about the whole deal. Any input would be wonderful. :)

I am upset it is raining today :( I was hoping so spray a coating on my acrylic paintings I would like to sell. Living in a 4 plex with no garage makes it hard to spray whenever I want. Nebraska weather is so hot and humid sometimes can't seem to find a window of opportunity.
Guess I will just work on some more painting and hope for the just right weather the next couple of days.
I wish I had an art studio somewhere. Don't really have the money to rent or lease one and getting pretty crowded in our 2 bedroom apt with 3 kids and my hubby and I . My hubby and I sleep on a sofa sleeper in the living room we are so crowded.
My dream is to open an art gallery/ hangout for kids, teenagers and grown ups who need a place to create and hang out that are lower to mid income.
Don't even know where to begin with a project like that .
Oh well thanks for listening to my rambles. I am off to relax and paint.
